radę da się od biedy z tego zrobić
Co nie zmienia faktu, że Saruman różnymi urządzeniami się bawił i różniaste wykombinował (jak choćby miotacze płomieni); z resztą sporo jest o tym w "Dwóch Wieżach" - szalenie ogólnikowo, co prawda, ale zawsze.
A jeśli idzie o te transportery, to... nie mam niestety akurat "KZO" (wzięła i zaginęła), więc trochę z pamięci:
- zrobione były z miedzi i albo brązu albo mosiądzu (jakiś stop, ale nie pamiętam który), a zamieszani w to byli kowale (z Angbandu oczywiście)
- miały kształt smokopodobny, generalnie bestialski (zdaje się, ale tu może mi się mieszać z inną książką, że miały też miotacze płomieni, czy inną broń masowego rażenia)
- miały otwierane brzuchy, w których transportowani byli orkowie
- posiadały jakiś rodzaj sterowania - wajchy i takie tam, ale była też, zdaje się, mowa o tym, że reagowały na rozkazy Gothmoga - bez precyzowania czy to ktoś sterował "bestiami" na jego rozkaz, czy "bestie" same reagowały na głos.
Więcej nie pamiętam - jakby ktoś był zainteresowany, to odsyłam do "Księgi Zaginionych Opowieści".
